Professional Intern Program Training Program Length for Aerospace Technology Employees

 

Level I participation lasts for a minimum of six months and a maximum of 18 months. Trainees enter Level II upon promotion to the GS-9 level. If not promoted to a GS-9 within 18 months of program entry, the trainee is dropped from this program and does not advance to Level II.

Participation in Level II lasts for at least 12 months, but no more than 18 months. Participation ends upon promotion to the GS-11 or after 18 months, whichever occurs first.
